  Why take pictures of pets?

Perceptions Photography is a small business based on the premise that pets are people too.  Combining a passion for photography and animals, Perceptions aims to capture your four-legged friend's personality. 

For many people, their pets are like their children.  Our pets are at the door waiting for us to come home each day.  They have unconditional love - they don't hold grudges, at least not very long - and they will give you their all.  We feel that all animals are wonderful and they deserve to be in the spotlight. 

We suggest bringing their favorite toy, a sense of humor and your patience.  Combine these things and you have the perfect recipe for a fun photo shoot that will capture your pet's personality and his/her unique sense of self. 

Price:

The price for one pet is $50.00, each additional pet is $25.00. 

The session will include photographs of your beloved pet and a disc with minor touchups (if necessary). 

The images are yours to keep, no restrictions or copyright issues. 

Testimony:

I asked Kallie to take pictures of my three dogs. I wasn’t sure what I wanted other than knowing that I wanted outdoor pictures—a few portrait-type and some action shots. Kallie was wonderful to work with! She knew exactly how to get “my boys” to do what she wanted and what shots would look good. We have some fantastic action shots of the labs hovering over the water on their way to fetch the ball and some great ones of my pug. My husband and I will cherish the pictures always!

Books have been written to answer the question "What is art?". For me, good art elicits a purely visceral and nearly instanteous reaction that can be summed up as either a "Wow!" or a heartwarming smile. Kallie's pictures are good art.
